Missing Networking Files
The dialog box will contain 4 GUIDs and each GUID must present on a separate line. I've been fighting this problem for 3 days now. I am currently using Norton 360, but nothing helps!? But here there wasn't any network tab. Jeff Just worked on Windows 8.1, but it needed a reboot. This did. i also used the anti virus to update / clean the registry entries.. Tried various of the methods mentioned here which did not work. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/825826

was the shell32.dll , i replaced some bitmaps and apparently one of them was slightly larger than how it should be. Got it! protocols still missing, it happened suddenly, Before wifi was working fine. In any event if I create them and populate them with that i believe the be the correct info then restart network services, i still don't get anything, eth0 is not didn't work. - When I go to the 2nd pc (tablet) and open the same location on the laptop, I see only some of the folders and files.

- Sometimes these virtual network adapters can cause your Internet connection not working.

On two of the Laptops I had to LEAVE the Homegroup and REJOIN it. 4. Error was banished here by following this procedure... found this blog, tried "Method 4" and presto, everything is alright. All 3 PC's on my network lost homegroup functionality after last week's Windows 10 update.
Stelek Wow. Open Device Manager using devmgmt.msc command and locate the Network adapters. 2. At last I tried resetting network adapters configuration using Windows registry and it did the trick.
