If you have access rights to a domain controller you could then got to the sysvol folder and check the script for any reference to something and drive G:. Especially since so far, I think it's working as they planned. You may change drive letter here to show it. > > 5.

You could delete the reference in your registry. I believe this is an issue with disconnected network share and USB device. So far I have seen commands net use Z: \\myserver\folder_name But I think it maps a network drive. It seems to be causing issues with some applications as the system shows its a disconnected drive.
