Media Player 8 1 Open Media Player 8. 2 If necessary, click the Return to Full Mode button in the bottom-right corner. 3 Click Tools / Options. 4 Click the Performance Is there any diagnostic that will determine why it didn't shut down properly. Started happening with RC, but initially was somewhat random. check my blog

Checking on Task Manager I can see it is still running. neither Intel or MS hade said anything about thisother than, Its not our fault, you either screwed it up or its the other companys fault, according to google.anyone got any hints.. Does it get stuck if you simply open and close it without playing anything? The other day I uninstalled some anti-virus software and installed another, which for some reason caused WMP to not open at all--lol.
