I don't understand how booting to Linux live on a usb drive could help it recognize the hard drive. So Creeds unplugged and replugged the drive. Up until yesterday I used to have only Drive nº1 connected to the computer, but today I tried to connect both of them and now the BIOS only detects Drive nº2 Please throw your ideas at me if I have not covered them. It seems like the controllers on the motherboard have failed if the hard drive is working on other computers.
